Replacement Axle For a 1996 Chariot Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a 1996 Chariot trailer that was matched to my 18 open bow Mariah boat. The axel broke and I need a replacement. I believe it is a axle measuring around 2.5 . Axle capacity: 3500 lbs Hubface measurement: 95 Spring center measurement: 76-1/4 possibly 76-3/16 Regards

I do have an option for you as we will not have any axles with a 95" hub face and 76-1/4" spring center measurement.
The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR3500S05 would replace your axle and leaf spring suspension with a progressive rate independent suspension. This will also help to increase ground clearance as you will not have the axle shaft that runs across the trailer. The spindle comes with an EZ lube grease zerk and will accept your current hub if it has the same #84 Spindle # TRU74FR dimensions.
