Is this strictly just for strobe function, or is this the standard brake/ turn signal with additional flasher strobe? These are needed for a trailer that has these existing lights that are used as brake/ turn signal. Thank you

The Custer LED Amber Quad Flash Kit # CPL65A-STR that you referenced is strictly a strobe/flash set of LEDs in this light.
An amber brake/turn signal LED light that is the same 6-1/2 inches is the Optronics # STL72AB. With this light you will also need the grommet # A70GB and a pigtail for power. If you need the straight pigtail it is # A45PB and the right angle pigtail is # A47PB.
