Question:
Hello, do you build a shock absorbing ball mount for class 2 system? 1-3/4” draw bar for light duty. I pull 2,000 pounds behind my rav 4 with a single axle all aluminum utility trailer and I notice some bouncing.

For your application I recommend checking out the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2" Hitch Ball which comes with a 3/4" diameter shank as part # C94CR or with a 1" diameter shank as part # C40047. This unique hitch ball absorbs the shock at the connection between the hitch ball and ball mount which is perfect for a lighter application like what you have.
Please note that the mounting platform on your ball mount must be at least 3/8" thick and the hole size must not be more than 1/16" larger in diameter than the ball's threaded shank.
