Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2" Ball For 800LB Trailer Pulled by 2010 Subaru Forester 2" Receiver
Question:
This only fits a 2inch wide mounting platform which is standard for a 1.25 hitch. but I have all 2inch drawbars with 2.5inch mounts. Is a drawbar available that would work with this 3500lb ball? I am pulling a 800lb trailer.

I have a recommendation as the 3,500lb Curt RockerBall # C94CR is only designed to be used with 1-1/4" Class I and II ball mounts.
Since you already have 2" draw bars/ball mounts you can use the 7,500lb Curt RockerBall # C40047. This will fit your 2-1/2" wide mounts. This will work with your trailer even though it is only 800lbs.
Do not be overly concerned with the weight ratings as these are maximum weight ratings and the reason the other RockerBall is so low at 3,500lbs is the 3/4" shank.
If you are dead set on using the Curt RockerBall # C94CR you can use an Adapter # C45770, but be aware that this will reduce your receiver capacity 50%, extend your hitch 4" and the maximum tongue weight capacity is 350lbs or 50% of the receiver rating whichever is lower. Then you will be able to use a Class II Drawbar # C45521.
