we have a ram 2500 with a gooseneck connector . we are buying a 33 foot fifth wheel camper soon ans trying to decide between Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter - 12 to 16 Tall - 20,000 lbs Item # CAB-C5G or BandW Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs Item # BWRVK3500 we will be traveling cross country with this. which one do you recommend.

The BandW Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3500 is the best route to go on your 2017 Ram 2500 as long as you already have the B&W Turnover gooseneck ball. This 5th wheel hitch must drop into the square receiver of the Turnover ball. Also since this is a 5th wheel hitch and not a king pin adapter like the Convert-A-Ball # CAB-C5G it will not risk voiding the chassis warranty on your 5th wheel if you are buying a newer camper.
If you have a different gooseneck hitch the Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550045-5W is designed to clamp onto a 2-5/16" gooseneck hitch ball that sits up to 4" above the bed of your Ram.
If you have something else that neither of these hitches will work on please send me more details on your gooseneck ball in your Ram.
