Aftermarket products such as the Derale Dyno-Cool Radiator Fan, part # D18916, and their oil and transmission coolers also, are not vehicle-specific. Any given product can be installed in any vehicle where there is ample space for mounting it.
To determine if this fan will fit your 2003 Silverado you can measure the space in front of (or behind your radiator since this fan can pull or push air) to see if there is enough space to mount it. The Derale Dyno-Cool is 3-5/8-inches thick at its center point and 16-1/2 inches in overall diameter.
The fan mounting holes are spaced 14 inches apart; this is important to note since the fan mounts using push-through connectors that are inserted through your AC condenser or radiator. You will need to make sure there is enough space for the 3-5/8-inch fan thickness as well as enough surface area on the condenser or radiator to install the push-through connectors. We offer a lighted power switch kit for this fan, part # D16740.
Transmission coolers are a great addition for towing applications and are available in a variety of types, including flat tube-fin, plate-fin and fan-powered versions. I have provided a link to a sample of coolers as well as two helpful articles that explain much about the various cooler types and their installation. You are free to install both a radiator fan and a transmission cooler; they do not need to be installed in the same location although this is fine to do if there is enough space in front of or behind your AC condenser.
An excellent example of a large cooler is the Class III Derale # D13503, which measures 11 x 8-3/4 inches. This kit requires hose adapters, part # D13018, for installation in your Silverado. I have linked a video showing installation in a comparable vehicle. Once you take your measurements of the available space in the Silverado engine compartment you can use the filters on the product page to choose a cooler that will fit the space you prefer for installation.
