To install the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120 in your 2000 Ford F-250 Diesel with the 8' long bed you will need the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16443-204. The Kit # C16424-104 that you found is for 2011-2016 model year Ford Super Duty Trucks.
The Fifth Wheel Rail Sound Dampeners # 16900 are great to have if you plan on leaving the hitch in your truck. It eliminates the rattle between the rails and hitch while driving.
The Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # HM40157 will allow you to add a 7-way into the bed of your F-250 by connecting in line of the factory 7-way on your truck.
