Expert Reply:
For a hitch adapter, the only adapters we have for a 2-inch hitch is to convert it to a 1-1/4" opening. If this is the adapter you need, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter - 2" (Class III) to 1-1/4" - 4" Long # C45770. This is the shortest adapter we carry for 2" to 1-1/4". It is important to note that this adapter only works with Class III 2 inch receivers. We do have a slightly longer adapter that works for all class sizes of 2 inch hitches. That is the Hitch Adapter 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver - 7" Long # 80300.
It is important to note that anytime you use a hitch adapter, you decrease the overall weight capacity by 50%.
