Are The OEM Shrouds Needed To Install The VanTred Custom Floor Mat In My 2021 Transit 250 148WB

I was looking at and reading the reviews for the Vantred mat. Ive read that the mat does not go all the way to the back so that the original factory plastic end cap that uses the 5 - 6mm screws can cover the end of the mat. Im having to replace the original plastic mat with the fabric insulation due to spillage of gasoline which was absorbed into the matting. The Gas fumes are sickening.

You are correct. Both of the VanTred Custom Floor Mat for Cargo Vans - Black - Thermoplastic,
long wheelbase, w/o extended body, part # VTFT15L
long wheelbase, with extended body, part # VTFT15LE,
will install underneath the OEM shrouds from the factory. If you want the custom fit, you will have to replace those shrouds. I have included a product description link below.
