Question:
2021 forest river sandpiper 379flok When I push auto level, message reads grounding front landing gear. Landing gear will go all the way to the ground.

The Gear needs to go to the ground so it can in turn lower the front end. If the gear is not touching it will time out or if it runs out of stroke it will time out, to save the motor from burning out.
If you press any button during the auto level process the system will stop the auto level process.
When you are trying to auto level the system it will try to go through these steps.
Front landing gear will retract, lowering the front of the unit below level, stopping, then lifting the
front end to level the unit front-to-back.
The left side leveling jack extends and raises the roadside of the unit.
The right side leveling jack extends and raises the curbside of the unit, beginning side-to-side leveling.
The front landing gear extend to complete the leveling cycle.
Additional left-to-right or front-to-back leveling may occur, if the controller deems necessary.
Note: If the auto level sequence does not happen as stated above, check to ensure proper manual
function in all zones.
I recommend using some Ultra-Fab Leveling Blocks for Trailers and RVs - 8-1/4" Wide x 8-1/4" Long - Qty 10
# UF48-979051 to make sure your landing gear have enough length to push and raise or lower the trailer.
Be mindful you can use to many blocks too and the system may not auto level.
If this doesn't work you will need to recalibrate the zero point of the system. I will link a step by step photo of the instructions to do this on your Level Up Hydraulic Leveling System
