Question:
I need to replace my trailer brakes and I found axletech 12-gg stamped on the brake assembly. It has a 4 bolt mounting flange

Expert Reply:
The "AXLETEK-12-GG" would cross-reference to our Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-7-SA but these use a five bolt mounting flange. The four bolt mounting flange is used on smaller, 10" x 2-1/4" brakes, not 12" x 2" like the above so you would need to measure to confirm your size. If you need the smaller 10" x 2-1/4" brakes which use the four bolt mounting flange then you need our Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA.
Please note, you should be measuring the inside of the hub where the shoe rides, not the actual brakes.
