Question:

I have a wardrobe slide-out measuring 59 wide on the outside trim. The slide is operated by a BAL Accu-Slide system. My concern is a slide topper might add to much stess to this system. Is it OK to install a slide topper on this set-up?

I spoke with Lippert and one of our installers who's put on countless slide out awnings (see video below) and both stated that there shouldn't be an issue installing the awning with your BAL Accu-Slide System as long as the awning hasn't been over-tensioned. If it has then the tension can still be lessened so you shouldn't have any issues with the awning interfering with the operation of your slide out.

Since your slide out measures 59" you'll want the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 5'1" Wide - 48" Projection - Black # LCV000168104 or # LCV000163273 for white.
