Question:
Can i use the 50amp RV surge protector on my generator that is feeding my house during a power ourage? will it protect my electronics against an issue with the generator power? Do i need to install anything else along with the surge protector?

If your generator is producing 50amp power then yes, you could use the Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth # HU47FR for extra surge protection for your sensitive electronics. That being said 50amp service isn't enough to power everything in a residential setting. You'll have to prioritize what you want to power and flip off the breakers for non-essential items.
