A 3" diameter vent hole is very common for enclosed trailers. I suggest you first completely remove old vent material and measure the opening. If you do have a 3" diameter hole, my recommendation is the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent for 3" vent holes, # HMAV2-AVT2. This 2-piece vent provides a great way to ventilate your enclosed trailer. The round interior vent along with the half-moon-shape exterior piece are both constructed of black, UV-resistant polypropylene plastic that holds up well to sun exposure.
