Troubleshooting Brake Controller Install on 2017 Ford E-350 that Activates Brake Lights Connected

Question:

My brake lights come on my 2017 Ford E350 RV as soon as the brand new brake controller w/factory wiring harness is hooked up and stay on????

Sounds like the brake controller is backfeeding 12 volts onto the brake light circuit of your RV. Check to see if the red wire of the controller is putting out 12 volts when all of the other wires are connected. If so, then the controller is bad and needs to be replaced.
