Question:
Per my previous question about carrying 3 kayaks on 2011 and 2017 Outback with factory racks, what other tie down straps are needed to work with the Thule Stacker? Do I need extra since I have 3 kayaks? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
Using the Thule Stacker # TH830 multi-kayak carrier with 3 kayaks will require additional bow/stern ropes and additional straps since the carrier comes equipped with enough for one boat.
Each of the 3 kayaks must have its own set of bow/stern tie-down ropes # TH855XT or something similar as well as its own straps to secure it to the Stacker, such as # 753-2030-02, or again, a similar item like # E98876-4.
