You say the holes are 1 11/16” apart, but in the in-depth video, based on what I see and comparing the size of the woman’s hands, it looks like they could be further apart. 1 11/16” would not allow much space for the key hole mechanism, that is in the center. Anyway, I need a latch like this that has the holes spaced 1 3/4” from center to center, so was double checking. This latch looks just like the one I need, but the screw holes may not line up, if what you have posted is accurate information.
