Question:
I have a 2018 Triton CTX 18 boat and trailer. In one of the photos on the website of installed brackets/bunks, the rear bracket appears to be mounted at an angle causing the end underneath the boat to appear to be pointed upwards toward the bottom of the boat. Is this a normal installation result? Thanks in advance!

Expert Reply:
The tubes are 90 degrees, so as long as your boat trailer's frame is level and the U-bolts are properly fastened, there should not be an angle pointing upwards for the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-On Kit for Boat Trailers - 90 Degree Posts - Pre-Galvanized # CE27600K90.
The # CE27600K90 comes with U-bolts to fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/2" tall, but if your frame is up to 5-1/4" tall you can use the Extra-Long U-Bolt Kit # CE11416.
