How does the B&W Gooseneck Ball Secure Inside the Ford Towing Prep Package?

Im new to the gooseneck ball set up, always had a 5th wheel hitch set up. What locks this ball into place once I it into the center hole? Thanks

I would be happy to help explain how the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ford, GM, and Nissan Titan Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # BWGNXA2061 works in your 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty. The ball locks into place once the handle is folded down. The handle locks in the horizontal position to prevent accidental unlatching. This engages the built-in-ball-bearing system that holds the ball in place inside the receiver. I have attached a video and around the 45 second mark you'll see this demonstrated.
