Question:

I would like to purchase about a 20 heavy duty sewer hose for my Roadtrek RV. What would you recommend...there are so many choices, I need help. Thanks!

I recommend the Viper RV Sewer Hose Kit # D04-0475. This is our thickest hose at 26mils TPE so it will resist crushing, punctures, and UV damage. It also stays flexible even in cold temperatures. The kit contains two 10' hoses so you can use one if you only need one which is better than having to trying to bunch up a 20' hose. Also included is a 4-1 clear elbow that fits 3" slip, 3", 3-1/2", and 4" threaded sewer points. The clear elbow helps you ensure that the hose and system are clean when you flush everything out.

I recommend two sets of Valterra Drip Cap and Waste Valve Cap # T1020-3VP when storing the hoses. These will ensure the hoses won't leak when stored and keeps out insects and other pests.

The Slunky RV Sewer Hose Support System # S2000 helps ensure you keep a slope on your hose so everything runs down the drain. This will help prevent clogs in your hose caused by low spots on the ground.
