Do the f2478 air bags bolt on or is drilling required? Also, is it a complete kit or do I need to source tubing, valve, bolts, etc?

I have an air bag solution for you. Unfortunately, if you have a 2022 Ram 3500 CA60 chassis cab, the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL # AL57531 will not fit. This is because these air bags are only designed for standard pickup models.

However, we do have air bags that are confirmed to fit. The only option we have is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted # F2478. The Ride-Rites are designed for chassis cabs and fit both 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive models. With these air bags, you receive 4,800 pounds of load-leveling capacity. It is important to make sure that you have 8 inches of length between your frame and the inside of your tire in order to have enough room to mount the air bags.

For greater customization and ease of inflation, I recommend either the Firestone Air Command II - Analog - Heavy Duty Compressor & Air Tank # F2168 or the wireless Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL58WQ. Since both of these compressors are dual-path, you can adjust the firmness of each air bag independently. In addition to the Bluetooth capability of the WirelessAIR, you also receive diagnostic checks to make sure the air bags are running safely and efficiently.

For the # F2478, there is some drilling required. The only drilling that you need to do is drill four holes in the frame rail using a 7/16" drill bit for the installation of the bracket bolts. As far as the hardware included, the # F2478 does include a complete hardware kit. For the particular parts included, I went ahead and attached a photo of the parts list. Note that the air compressor components come separately with the Firestone Air Command II - Analog - Heavy Duty Compressor & Air Tank # F2168 or the wireless Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL58WQ.
