Will the Yakima 4 Bike Rack Fit on My Jeep Wrangler with a Barricade Spare Tire Carrier?

I would love to know if this would lock Vertically in place on a jeep wrangler with the “standard “oversized spare tire on an external carrier rack?

Without knowing the year of your Jeep Wrangler or the width of your spare tire on your Barricade external tire carrier, there is a measurement you can take to confirm if the etrailer 4 Bike Rack # Y02476 will clear your spare tire. If you have a hitch installed, I recommend measuring from the center of the hitch pin to the outside face of your spare tire. If that measurement does not exceed 9 inches, you will be able to mount the rack in the "up" position on your Wrangler.

If you find that you need more shank length on the bike rack, the Yakima FullTilt 5 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # Y02463 is a better option. From the center pinhole to the upright part of the rack, it measures 14 inches. Also, another great thing about the FullTilt is that it comes with locks that deter theft of the bikes and the rack itself. It also comes with a 5th bike position.

If you do not have a hitch installed, I would be happy to recommend you a compatible hitch if you provide the year of your Jeep Wrangler.
