Wiring Instructions for Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards on 2016 Ram 1500 You answered a question about where do some of the wires go, but instead of naming the colors, could just be more exact and tell me what wire it is they are connecting to? I dont care about the color, I need to know what the wire goes to, thank you.

The wires you're looking for to install the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards # AA3047912 on your 2016 Ram 1500 will get hot only when the different doors are opened up, so these are connecting to the buttons, or whatever your truck is equipped with, that lets the truck know when the doors are opened.
