If you want to tow a trailer or use a tow dolly with your 2006 Itasca Meridian Motorhome, you will need a brake controller. My brake controller recommendation is the Redarc you inquired about. It will consist of the following items:
Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller - 2 Braking Modes - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional, part # RED44FR
Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers, part # 3027-P
This brake controller comes with a custom wiring harness. It is a proportional brake controller, so the braking power you apply in your motorhome will be applied to your trailer.
