Question:

Hey! Looking to put together a package to be able to tow our Gladiator. Tow vehicle is a RAM 5500 Cummings 6.7 with a Class V, 2 in hitch. Gladiator has an AEV bumper with tow/recovery tabs that mount to the chassis. Tabs are 0.5 in thick and have a hole diameter of 0.9 in. Loaded the Gladiator will be about 6,000 lbs. We would like to go with a surge brake system vs an electronic system. Look forward to seeing what you suggest. Thanks,

I did some research online and it looks like the AEV Front Bumper for the 2021 Jeep Gladiator uses 3/4" d-rings and in which case you can use the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar part # RM-676 with the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Tow Bar part # RM-035. In order to complete your setup you'll still need the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit part # RM-154 and some sort of braking system like the Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System part # HM39524.
