It sounds like you would like to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13195 and use it for a motorized wheelchair lift. This hitch has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 750 lbs. You will also need to check your owner's manual to find the maximum tongue weight capacity of your 2017 Kia Sorento. As long as the weight of the lift and the wheelchair together do not exceed the capacity of the hitch or your vehicle you will be able to add a motorized wheelchair lift.
