Can CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Carry Weight of Heavier Boat

Question:

Dear Representee, I have a 1979 20ft cabin curser that is rather heave compared to boats of today. I am looking for a roller assembly that will not fall apart with in seconds of the boats massive weight touching it. Is Item # CE10403G the roller I want or is there one better suited for heavier boats?

The rubber keel roller # CE10403G does not have a weight capacity though it is designed to support the added weight of heavier boats. At any given time, it is not likely that any one roller will have to support the entire weight of the boat so it is not really a concern. If you are having an issue with these rollers breaking it could be possible that your bunks aren't supporting enough of the boat's weight.
