Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" item # e75ZR will fit your 2022 Toyota Highlander XSE. This hitch is custom fit and will bolt directly to your Highlander's frame with included hardware. I have linked an installation video.
If your Highlander does not have the factory tow package you will want the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter - 7 Way Trailer Connector item # TK57VR. This will provide you with a 7-way vehicle connector to control your trailer's lighting and brake functions. This harness also includes a plug in adapter for a brake controller. For a compatible controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller item # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller that works with trailers having up to 4 axles. The brake controller activates your trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" Ball, a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop, and is rated for up to 7,500 lbs. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
I recommend you check your Highlander's owner's manual for towing capacity. Always remember that the lowest capacity component is what you want to go off of when using a hitch receiver.
