what is the max gas pressure allowed before the safety valve shuts off gas flow

The safety valve on the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR48SR you referenced is for water pressure. If the pressure reaches 87 psi the unit will vent to prevent excess pressure and heat build-up. This water heater has an automatic shut off for an overcurrent event as well but does not have a shut off for an excessive gas pressure.
