Question:

I currently have a g6a-8e Dometic hot water heater gas only but I want to replace it with a tankless heater what heater model will fit mine and it has a black door the camper is a 2019 274bh Colman thanks looking forward to hear from you side note we live in it full time

You can replace your old Dometic G6A-8E with the Fogati # LSB44FR which is a 41,800 BTU tankless unit with a black door to match your existing unit. This unit will give you on demand hot water and a wall controller with a digital display that lets you adjust the temperature of the water as needed. This is a great option to allow you to save some space in your coach and get the convenience of hot water without waiting for the tank to heat up. This unit operates off propane gas and has an automatically lighting pilot. This is also the only unit we currently offer with the black door. You will need the # CAM10423 pressure and temperature relief valve to install this unit, which is sold separately.

If the door color isn't a concern for you, I do recommend going up to the Furrion # FR48SR which is a 60,000 BTU unit and actually is a bit closer to the size of your old Dometic unit and comes with the safety valve built in. This unit will provide a bit more efficient heating than the Fogati unit since it's rated for up to 60,000 BTU.

Converting I.

I have purchased the Furrion to replace my Atwood G6A-8E tank model. However, my Atwood has only 3 wires; red, green, blue. I know my green is ground but what is the blue wire for? I just need to match the white and black from the furrion but not sure who goes to who.
