Installing Brake Controller on 2022 Toyota Highlander with 4-Way

Question:

Hi Jameson, Thank you for your reply to my question from January. I am finally getting around to making this project happen! One question: You recommend the TK57VR for my 2022 Highlander, but the website description says that the part is for a vehicle WITHOUT a factory tow package. My highlander came with a factory tow package but only has a 4-way connector. Would the TK57VR still fit, or is there a better option?

The easiest way to install a brake controller on your 2022 Toyota Highlander with a 4-way is to first install a 7-way kit with the part # TK57VR which includes brake controller wiring as well. Then for a brake controller the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 would be a great option as it's wireless and once synced to your smart phone and plugged into a 7-way is ready to tow with.

Yes the 7-way kit part # TK57VR does fit your Highlander with or without the factory tow package based on how it installs.
