Wondering if you would recommend a bolt-on trailer hitch for the back of a 2022 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB travel trailer? Looking for something to attach a bike rack or cargo rack to the back of the trailer. I would not prefer something that attaches to the bumper, frame mounting preferred. Thanks,

We definitely carry what you are looking for. For hitches that allow you to directly bolt or weld onto the frame of your 2022 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB travel trailer, I recommend either the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 18" to 51" Wide # C13702 or the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop # C13701. Both of these hitches include adjustable brackets that you can adjust to fit trailer frames that measure between 18-51 inches wide. The # C13701 has a 2-inch drop if you need to have the receiver tube a bit closer to the ground for extra bumper clearance. Both of these hitches provide you with 500 pounds of maximum tongue weight capacity and 5,000 pounds of maximum gross towing weight capacity. In order to make sure that these hitches will fit, I recommend measuring the width of your Imagine's frame from left-to-right.

As far as the rack itself, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches # S94FR. The reason for the recommendation of the Swagman is twofold: it is constructed for brute strength to withstand the extra force/torque while mounted on a travel trailer, and it has a really long shank that measures 10-1/2 inches from the center of the pinhole to the closest part of the rack. The shank length is important for bumper clearance purposes. To put the cherry on top, it also comes with an impressive 70-pound per bike weight capacity. I went ahead and attached a video of the E-Spec mounted on a 2020 Grand Design fifth-wheel trailer to provide you with perspective.

If you choose to go with the E-Spec, I recommend using a Swagman Bike Frame Adatper Bar # 64005 if you have women's bikes, children's bikes, or step-thru bike frames. The adapter bar will give your bike the straight, horizontal plane that is required to attach to the ratcheting hooks. Also, if you have bikes that have fat tires that are 3-5 inches wide, you need the fat tire adapter # S64679 for each bike.
