Do All 6 Bolts Need to be Installed for Rotating Clutch Position on ComeUp Winch

Question:

I needed to rotate the clutch housing 22.5 degrees to the rear, removing the the six mounting bolts and rotating to next position , only four bolts would align with housing. Is this correct? only 4 housing bolts retaining ?

You need to make sure that all 6 bolts for the ComeUp Seal Slim Off-Road Winch # CU295051 are aligned and able to be installed for this application. From what I was able to find it looks like that T-Handle rotates in the direction that the cable/rope pays out so if you are rotating it towards the back side of the winch then that may be why you are running into issues.
