Question:

A fire HD TABLET Android running iOS CarPlay? Using Carlinkit adapter for CarPlay to run on tablet. It would be fine if when put in reverse that it shows on native android on the tablet and then goes back to CarPlay after taking it out of reverse. I have a 2012 Toyota V6 base model. I have wired hookup for trailer, but the backup camera is for my car without trailer. Any other wireless backup cameras that would work with this setup?

The Swift Hitch # SH04 requires its app to be available and used, and wouldn't be able to automatically switch when reversed. So it wouldn't be able to work with your Carlinkit, you would need a hitch alignment backup camera with its own screen.

There is a similar option from Swift Hitch you can use, with the same camera but with its own hand-held screen, the Swift Hitch Digital Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor # SH02Digital.
