Question:
I have a 1999 Ramlin trailer and the coupler will not latch. Do I need to order a specific manufacturer coupler part?

Expert Reply:
The rebuild kit or replacement coupler parts will depend on who manufactured the coupler on your trailer. If you can closely examine the coupler and find any manufacturer information or model or part numbers, I might be able to track down replacement parts for you.
If you cannot see any information on the coupler, you can contact the trailer manufacturer, Ram-Lin out of Orlando Fl. Their phone number is 407-851-1144. If you can provide them with the VIN of your trailer, hopefully they will be able to help you with replacement parts for your coupler.
