Flat Bed Truck Recessed Ball Depth For Demco Recon Recessed Ball Hitch Adapter

Question:
Hi, Im assuming there are no problems using this hitch on my trough type flatbed. The trough is much narrower than the footprint of the hitch so it looks like it wouldnt be a problem? I attached a pic of the style that is on my truck. Thanks!

Thanks for the picture! The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs item # DM8550046 is designed for applications like yours. The main requirement is that the top of the gooseneck ball must be 13/16" or closer to the top of the truck bed for the hitch to install and that it sits above the recessed box. I have attached a diagram with the dimensions so you can confirm the Demco Recon can fit your truck.
