Question:

I have a KZ durango 2021 rkt 256, 5200 lb axles, 33 inch center to center on axles, leaf spring width is 1 3/4 in., center to center on shackle strap is 2 1/2 in. This is a lippert equaflex equalizer. Does dexter have a replacement for the lippert that would fit my 5th wheel? I like dexter because it appears more heavy duty with the shackle straps with wet bolts. Anxious to hear back from you.

Though there is most likely a Dexter kit that will replace your Lippert set up, the correct one will depend on the equalizer as well. The Dexter E-Z Flex # K71-653-00, as an example, will have 2-1/4" shackle straps and the equalizer will measure 7-11/16" long and 2-7/8" tall. I included an image showing the equalizer measurements as well. Now, this would be a full replacement kit, but I do have an option to just upgrade the shackles as well.

If you take a look at the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR46ZR, it will also be a heavy duty set up like the Dexter shackles. It will also measure 2-1/4" and will have no problem fitting your current Lippert equalizers. If these equalizers are performing well, this will be the better and less expensive way to go.
