When your trailer’s suspension hardware has to handle serious weight, you need bolts that won’t flex or shear. This 10K general duty spring eye bolt is built with a 7/8" diameter and Grade 2 steel construction to keep your suspension solid under load. It’s the kind of hardware that holds up mile after mile.
Getting the right length matters when you’re assembling or upgrading your suspension. This bolt measures 4-1/2" long, giving you the reach needed for secure clamping on 10K axle setups. It installs cleanly and tightens down for a stable, reliable connection between your spring and hanger.
From camper builds to utility trailers and car haulers, this general duty bolt keeps your suspension parts aligned and working smoothly. It’s built for consistent performance, helping your trailer track straight and tow steady without the worry of worn or undersized hardware.
When it’s time to swap out an old or rusted bolt, this one drops right in with standard suspension hardware. The design is simple, strong, and proven—no frills, just the right fit and dependable hold that gets you back on the road with confidence.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the four and a half inch Spring Eye Bolt for the 10,000 pound general duty axles. This is a seven eighths inch diameter spring retainer bolt that will attach upper springs to front hanger equalizer. The lock nut that's when you install this, that is sold separately. Now, this is a suspension bolt that will attach your leaf spring to your front hanger or equalizer. This one is designed to work with a slipper spring for a 10,000 pound general duty trailer axle. If you notice, on the very end where the head is, it has a nice greased circ fitting on the head. That's to allow you to attach your grease gun to it to lubricate the bushing of the leaf spring.
When you pump grease in there, you'll notice that hole right there, it'll come out here and lubricate when this is installed on your leaf spring. Now, the lock nut that's needed to install this, it's Part Number 6-111, we do sell that separately on our website. It is listed on this product page as a related product. That lock nut is used to secure the bolt to the spring. Few specs on this bolt, it is a grade five bolt. Again the diameter is seven eighths of an inch.
The threads per inch is nine threads per inch. Few measurements on this, the length, which is measured from under the head to the end, is right at four and a half inches long. The threaded portion is right at one and three quarter inches long. That should do it for the review on the four and a half inch Spring Eye Bolt for 10,000 pound general duty axles.
