I will be flat towing my 2021 Ford Ranger With a Fleetwood Bounder 35K gas, I am installing the Demco Stay-in-Play Duo as supplemental break system. Is the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes a must also!? Thanks.

To get the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR working on your 2021 Ford Ranger, you must have 12 volt power run to the 7 Way on your Fleetwood Bounder. Not all RVs have power run, so you will need to check the 1 o'clock with something like the # PTW2992 circuit tester on your Bounder is started. If you have power, then you are good to go. If you do not have power, then yes, you must use the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75.

With that being said, the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400 is required to prevent your Ranger's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn. So just a heads up if you hadn't seen that.
