For determining whether the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR will allow you to fully open your rear hatch on your 2008 Toyota 4Runner Sport with bikes loaded, it depends on three factors: where your hitch installs on your vehicle, the length of your rear hatch, and the length of your bikes' handlebars. Since the Transfer V2 measures 8-15/16 inches from the center of the shank's pinhole to the closest cradle position of the rack when tilted, we can determine a rough estimate of its fitment on your vehicle. Of course, with this measurement, you need to factor in how far your hitch recedes into the vehicle as well as the handlebar length of your bikes.
