Question:
I have a 2015 GMC 3500 Denali Pick up. It has the diesel engine. Considering a front hitch. It appears the Draw tite hitch receiver would have extend through the area where the license plate is located. I do know of an individual that installed one this way, but he had to cut our a square hole in the metal place located behind the license plate. The Curt Hitch c31071 receiver appears to extend out from the front much lower, and perhaps even below the black air dam. On some of your comments it appears like you guys are saying the Draw tite hitch will work on my truck, but some trimming is required. If trimming is only needed on the black air dam below the bumper, this will work fine. However, if one has to cut a hole behind the license plate, this creates more of an issue. That would be even OK, but then I would have to relocated the front license plate. Thoughts? Recommendations?

For your 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali I recommend the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31071. This unit will sit just below the front fascia on your bumper giving you a much easier installation with no need to relocate your front license plate. I have linked an installation video below for a similar Sierra 3500 that you can see the installation process.
The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65078 will require extensive fascia trimming as well as steel trimming behind the front fascia. This is specific to the Denali trim of your GMC. A Front Mount Trailer Hitch License Plate Relocation Bracket # 5443 would also be needed to be able to still mount your license plate in front of the hitch.
