Can I run cable from my primary battery to another batter y and connect the 2000 watt inv.

Yes, you can wire your batteries in parallel and then run them to the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter - GFCI - 2,000 Watt - 12V # 34278156. This will keep the voltage the same but double your amp hours. This is a very common practice with RV's that have solar power systems installed.
