Carrying 3 Bikes While Towing a Trailer with a Class II Hitch on a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
Do they make a dual hitch adaptor for 1.25inch receivers? I just ordred a 1.25inch hitch from you guys to carry a bike rack or jet ski. Then I realized it would be great to be able to call both. I see dual hitch adaptors for 2inch receivers, but cannot find one for 1.25. I think the weight of 3 bikes and a jet ski trailer would still be OK for the hitch. What do you think?

There are no dual receivers for 1-1/4 inch hitches but I do have a solution for you that could work. What you could do is use a trunk mount bike rack like # HRE3 which is the most economical choice that fits your 2000 Chrysler Town and Country and holds 3 bikes.
The only problem is that three bikes hanging off the back of the vehicle could interfere with the trailer. You could use a longer ball mount like # C45000 to help with clearances but on a Class II hitch you are supposed to use the ball mount recommended by the hitch manufacturer, in this case # 36071.
The other option is to go with a roof rack and roof rack mounted bike racks. I have included a link to the roof rack main page for your van so you can see the options.
