Do Hangers Need to be Exact Match to Use APT6SE Kit
Published 12/23/2021 >
Question:
The hangers currently on my trailer dont match the exact measurements listed in the info section describing the hangers included in this kit. Will the difference in the measurements be an issue that will cause problems, or can I use the hangers included in this kit knowing it is an acceptable difference? My hangers currently in use are Front hanger 3-1/2, Center hanger 3-5/16, and Rear hanger 5. Thanks

Appreciate those measurements, and you are 100 percent fine using the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 2" Slipper Springs - 12" Long Equalizers # APT6SE.
The very slight variance between your measurements and the hangers are not going to be problematic; the differences are only 1/4", 1/16", and 1/16", respectively. The 12" equalizer length is important to have correctly match, but the differences in hanger height are too miniscule to make an impact so you can absolutely use the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for 2" Slipper Springs - 12" Long Equalizers # APT6SE.
