For a 2016 Honda Civic Sedan (non-SI model) and a 2015 Kia Sportage, I recommend the Yakima FullBack 2 # Y02634 or the Yakima FullBack 3 # Y02633. Apart from fitting both your vehicles, the FullBack comes with theft-dettering locks that protect both the bikes and the rack itself. Other bike rack models require you to purchase these components as additional parts. If you happen to have a SI model 2016 Honda Civic, the only option we have for a trunk-mounted carrier that can transfer between both vehicles is the SeaSukcer Komodo # 298-BK1910-AB (aqua blue), # 298-BK1910-BK (black), # 298-BK1910-SV (silver), and # 298-BK1910-GO (gold). The great thing about the Komodo is that it is extremely easy and fast to install and uninstall from your vehicle. Also, the Komodo comes with a a 45-pound weight capacity. For additional theft deterrence, I recommend the trunk cable anchor # 298-BA0020 along with the etrailer Cable Lock # e98891.
