Question:

Will your worm gear reduction hand crank winch, Model #DL11004, accept a 25 foot strap, Model # DL24249 or are there other options? The winch description indicates it accepts only the 20 foot strap. Thank you!

We are a little limited on what we have for worm gear winches, but if your application does not require the strap to be completely wound and can have 5 feet of excess hanging down/out, you can use the 25 foot strap # DL24249 with the Dutton-Lainson # DL11004. If you cannot, you will only be able to use the 20 foot # DL24242.

The only other hex drive winch we have with the worm gear will be the Dutton-Lainson # DL11011 that is designed to be used with wire rope. The 1/4" Diameter with Safety Hook # DL24100 will fit this nicely and get you the length you need, but this set up will only be rated up to 1,400 pounds of capacity.
