Recommended Screen Door Latch Replacement For A 2019 Keystone Outback Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2018 Keystone Outback. My screen door handle is right hand swing and the striker plate broke. I bought 2 different after market screen door handles right hand but both of them the holes aren’t correct even with measuring. I would like to know if there’s is a direct replacement for keystone or who makes the original handle that came on the trailer screen door. I found Lippert RV Entry Screen Door Latch but it’s left hand only. Do you not have right? I like the screen door latch because it has the extra prongs that fit in between the gaps of the screen door for extra support. Most after market ones don’t have them. I would really appreciate help on this. Thank you

To get an exact replacement screen door latch for your 2019 Keystone Outback Travel Trailer you would need to reach out to the manufacturer directly to see if they could ship you a replacement. This is probably going to consume a large amount of time and no guarantee that you'll get what you need so I recommend just replacing the old latch with the Bi-Directional Screen Door Latch # 37206-11865 and making new holes. It doesn't have the extra prongs but will be more than stable with the included mounting screws. You can plug the old mounting holes with some caulk for a watertight seal.
