will the B&W Companion BWRVK3710 fit underneath a closed BAKFlip MX4 for my 2022 Chevy silverado 2500 8 foot bed with oem prep?

While we have not tested the B&W Companion Hitch # BWRVK3710 with the BAKFlip MX4 # BAK24FR on an 8-foot bed 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500, there are things we can look at to give you a good idea of compatibility.
The first thing to note is that the Companion has three hitch height settings, with the lowest being 17 inches. We also know the BAKFlip MX4 will sit approximately 1-1/2 inches below the top of your Silverado's bed rails because this is a low-profile cover that installs inside the rails. If you measure from the bottom of your truck bed to the top of the side rails that should tell you if there is going to be enough room for the Companion to fit.
If you don't have quite enough room I recommend taking a look at a tonneau cover that installs on top of the base rails such as the Extang Trifecta 2.0 # EX87XR. This particular folding cover sits 1 inch to 1-1/2 inches above your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500's bed rails.
