Question:

I only put 2400 miles on my trailer in a year. Do I need to repack the bearings or will I be ok and wait for 10,000 miles? I only haul a motorcycle @750lbs.

To ensure that your trailer performs reliably, you should inspect the bearings, races, and seals and repack the bearings every 12 months or 12,000 miles. So, yes you will want to repack your bearings at the one year mark even at low mileage. Being exposed to the elements will cause the grease to break down regardless of low use.
