Question:

I need to replace the motor on my Atwood landing gear, but I cannot find a number of any kind on the motor or gear box. The trailer is a 1989Travelite 26foot 5th wheel. I could also replace the motor/gear box complete, but not the entire jack assembly. Do you have any suggestions?

Since you cannot identify your motor or gear box I recommend replacing them both. The Replacement Gearbox # LC276602 is designed to work with your Atwood landing gear.

This will allow you to use the Motor and Switch Kit # LG-217884. The new switch is IP-rated to protect against moisture and sparks. This will ensure that if any of your old wiring is damaged you have new wiring to replace it.
